When you are looking for something different wedding theme, then you must go and check these beautiful and A Fashionable Three Day Wedding In Italy With A Lemon Theme.
If you are planning a wedding abroad, you should definitely consider having a three day wedding like Sinead and Ed had. ‘We didn’t want it over in one evening so decided to have a three day bash in Puglia,’ says Sinead.
The couple first met one another on a blind date. They were set up by Sinead’s sister and Ed’s best friend. ‘At the time the pair of them worked together and were just friends,’ explains Sinead. ‘They were married last December and are expecting their first baby. Ed and his best friend are now brothers – all down to that first blind date that they organised for us!’ Sinead and Ed were together for just over eight years and engaged for eight months before getting married.
When it came to her wedding dress, Sinead initially did not have an idea about the style she wanted. ‘I am a Fashion Director with a design background, so initially thought I would have to get it made,’ she says. However, a friend of hers recommended The Wedding Dress Shop in Wimbledon. ‘I went there and loved it,’ explains Sinead. ‘The whole experience was a joy, they were laid back but professional. I found my dress straight away, Harlem by Enzoani Blue. As we were getting married in Italy it felt the right level of glamour but still feeling comfortable and durable!’
According to Sinead, both her and Ed are summer people, so it made sense to choose to have their wedding in Puglia. ‘We couldn’t have done it without our wedding planner, Victoria,’ says Sinead. ‘Victoria showed us around 15 venues over 3 days, it was the best experience! We wanted to be near the beach but equally for our venue to be in the countryside (so we could dance util dawn!) She found Masseria Fulcignano for us, which at the time was relatively unknown as a wedding venue.’
If you love the idea of a wedding in Italy, why not choose lemons as a theme? They are perfect for summer weddings in southern Italy. ‘We used lemons as a theme and had them as centre pieces down the long, communal tables,’ says Sinead.
From speaking to Sinead, it is clear that there were many highlights that took place during her three day wedding in Italy. ‘It was incredible getting married surrounded by people we love,’ says Sinead. We also enjoyed staying with everyone at the venue during the wedding week. It meant we had everyone round us to support us and share the special time with us.’

Kathryn describes her sophisticated wedding in Surrey as ‘simple, ‘classy’ and ‘romantic,’ and when you look at the photographs, it is not hard to see why. Kathryn and Andrew got married on the 28th November 2015 at Botleys Mansion in Surrey. They met on a dating app and spoke for a couple of weeks before meeting in person. They clicked right away and instantly became friends. ‘Our first date was after work on a Friday evening in Victoria, London, because that was where I was working at the time,’ says Kathryn.
The couple dated for around eight months before Andrew proposed over lunch on the top floor of a restaurant after Kathryn had been away for a two week trip with her mum and brothers. ‘After we finished eating, we went out onto the viewing platform and admired the beautiful view of the city,’ explains Kathryn. ‘He pulled me away from the other tourists and got down on one knee and told me I was the love of his life and asked me to marry him. Luckily, a couple from New Zealand realised what was happening and snapped a few photos of us. We will be forever grateful that they captured this special moment for us.’
Kathyrn chose a black and white colour scheme for their wedding with a slight pop of red. As Kathryn is originally from Indiana, USA, and Andrew is from the UK, they adopted traditions from both countries. The couple were assigned a wedding planner, Emma, from Botleys Mansion. ‘We were so grateful to have such a detail oriented, organised and friendly person to help us plan our special day,’ says Kathryn.
Kathryn said that aside from the ceremony, the highlight of her wedding was having a ‘first look’ at one another before they got married. ‘It allowed us to calm our nerves and have a few photographs together before the ceremony began,’ explains Kathryn. I am sure you will take many ideas away from Kathryn and Andrew’s beautiful and sophisticated wedding. The couple’s day was photographed by Faye Cornhill.
