I am often asked : what quite garments should i select for my flower girls and page boys? What colours are the simplest ? Does the flower girl colour dress need to match exactly my wedding dress? How old should my flower girls and page boys be? When is that the blast to order?

So i assumed i might share with you my insiders’ tips, having designed and worked with brides to be for quite a decade, helping them styling their junior bridal party…

Which style does one want for your wedding?

What will your wedding look like? If you’re thinking of the x factor you would like your wedding to possess , then a couple of ideas could assist you determine what is going to make it unique.

You should also ask yourself, what main colour you’d like for your wedding theme.

There are 3 areas where colours should match. The flowers at the altar/ reception, the flower girls / page boys outfits and last but not least, the bridesmaids’ dresses/ best men’s ties. You don’t need all the bridal party garments to be made from the exact same colours. Different colours can create a true harmony, as they complete one another very well… A powder pink for the women , a pale green cummerbund for the boys and therefore the best men ties for example…

Meanwhile, counting on the design you would like to offer to your wedding, the children’s outfits are often classic, as in Kate’s wedding or the flower girls’ dresses might be shorter, as seen on Pippa’s wedding.

I recommend that children wear their new shoes a couple of days before the marriage to form sure they feel comfortable in them and don’t have hurting feet on the D day.

What Requirements Does A Mother Of The Bride / Groom Outfit Have?
Although dressing rules at weddings vary by country, generally a mother of the bride dress should:

1. Not be an equivalent colour because the bridal gown . So ask the bride! Also determine which colour the bridesmaids are wearing. you are doing not want to be mistaken for one!
2. Preferably not be all black as which will suggest mourning.
